Annual Show

A highlight of our dance calendar is our annual performance.

We hold our performances at the Bruce Mason Theatre in Takapuna on Auckland's North Shore.

There are four shows and, with the exception of the Senior students, most students take part in two of the four shows (there are two casts).

There is extra commitment required for the show with two Sunday dress rehearsals in the lead-up to the show weekend (late November) and a dress rehearsal at the theatre on the Saturday of show weekend.

A costume/show levy is applicable ($80 +gst per student/per class). This is charged in term 3 and covers the show costume, show and costume/accessory-related costs.

Our shows employ the skills of professional lighting technicians, rigging, sound technicians and stage crew which enables students to experience a professional performance environment at a very high standard. In addition there are social benefits - the students form relationships and bond as a group at show time.

Paricipation in the performance is optional.
